The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.

The workshop will showcase the strategic role of cities in establishing transformative ecosystems, based on digital technologies and innovative business models, to drive economic growth and social welfare. This year, the workshop will present success stories of European harbour cities looking also into the key role of the port together with advanced technologies to create a fertile business environment.
